    I wanted to lose the last 10 pounds of my bodyfat to get lean or shredded but after months of cardio and 1800 calories per day diet I never lost that last 10 pounds n then I though I should give up but when someone told me about IF with low carb diet. Trust me after months of failure just in 3 weeks with 14 to 16 hours water fast per day and with 2000 calories low carb diet like 100 grams of carbs per day max n rest all calories came from protein and fat I got lean and shredded has fuk with my abs clearly visible and my belly is flat and strong with no lose skin and that also without hours of excercise just 3 times gyms per week and 1 to 2 hours of walking 5 times a week. So yes I can guarantee low carb diet works for weight lose for sure

    Jason "carbs make you fat" Fung has been proven wrong a million times over. It is IMPOSSIBLE for carbs to make a person overweight. It's the fat that's always eaten WITH the carbs that is the problem.

    So is a caloric deficit false and in truth not accurate? I still eat low calorie foods and have lost weight. So Dr. Fung please explain to us why a caloric deficit still seems to work?

  • This is just WRONG. Dietary fat is easily stored as fat on the body. There is NO change required. Carbohydrate is hardly stored as fat on the body. Eating a truly low-fat diet (15 % or better 10 % of calories from fat or less!!! not the BS 30 % "low fat" joke diet!) will almost inevitably lead to weight loss, unless you have a lot of soft-drinks and to a lesser degree refined sugar (because they raise tryglicerides = fat in the blood.)
    That is why people on a HIGH CARB LOW FAT diet are SLIM, like traditional East Asians, Africans, Amerindians,……… That is the human diet, starchy carbs and vegetables with some small amount of animal products added to them. And skip the oil, you don't need it and once you stop using it you will not miss it. It's full of free radicals and again easily stored as fat… avoid or use occasionally in small amounts!!!

    This guy is just clown in fat loss indrustry. He is brainwashing people to buy his products. Insulin model of obesity is beaten like 10 years ago. This guy is dangerous because some of you might die listening to him because you wont lose weight when you need it. He has zero knowledge about hormones. Just some basics and it is always context dependent. Calorie deficit CICO is based on first law of thermodinamics. Energy (adipose tissue) cant appear (without surplus) or dissapear (without deficit) out of nothing. And if you think that you can eat in surplus and not getting fat because of low insulin you are just an idiot. This is not an opinion. This is not even for debate. Its fucking low and there is no person to whom this does not apply. There were so many studies based on insulin. I'll write down just one. There were 2 groups in study. Both groups were in the same calorie deficit. 1 group was on low carb and second group was eating regular high carb diet. First group had 20% lower insulin because of low carbs. And guess what. They lost the same amount amount of body fat. If insulin was so important we would see the difference right? Believe what you want. If you want debate just link me study which proves your statement. Not your fucking OPINION. Its not important in science.
